The year was 1993 when I first met Ken Garber... my life was in desperate need of change. I had come to the end of myself after a life's journey filled with sexual abuse, addiction and brokenness. My heart was locked away deeply in a pit of despair, low self-worth and anger. I had lost my wife and my two kids, and had almost no hope.

When I met Ken I saw something different in him... what he believed actually worked in his life. I approached Ken to ask him if he would walk with me and mentor me because I desired the freedom and joy that I saw displayed in his own life. That day began the healing process that changed my life. Today, I am happily remarried to my wife of fourteen years and have five great kids!

Ken is a "dangerous man" because he is committed to speaking the truth in love. He is full of wisdom and knowledge and truly able to discern how to set people free so they can heal and grow.

Our daughter has been in rehab for the past year and had several minor setbacks in her struggle with drugs. About six months ago, we met Ken and he continually asked about her welfare and was genuinely concerned.

We soon realized at the rehab home that our daughter was not receiving the best counsel that is needed for people with addictions. My husband and I decided to take an extra step and arrange for her to meet Ken on a trial basis. Immediately, he won her confidence and identified several areas of her life that needed to be discussed and addressed.

It has now been nearly six months and the change in her has been awesome! She has developed a purpose for her life. Ken helped her gain clarity on past relationships and understand why she allowed herself to be thrust into the drug world in the first place.

We are grateful everyday for Ken's counsel and wisdom as he speaks into her life. He is a great mentor for anyone who is struggling with any addiction and the proof is in our daughter!
